LiDARo – Terms of Use
Effective Date: November 2025.1. Legal Responsibility
You, the user, are solely responsible for any use of this App and any content you create with it.
The developer assumes no liability for:
• Violation of privacy laws or personal rights due to unauthorized scanning.
• Violation of copyright or intellectual property rights.
• Creation, sharing, or use of offensive, illegal, or harmful content.2. Respect for Privacy
You may not use this App to scan individuals, private property, or restricted areas without clear permission.
You must comply with applicable local and international laws.3. Intellectual Property
You may not use the App to scan or reproduce copyrighted works (such as sculptures, designs, commercial products, etc.) unless you are legally allowed to do so.4. Exported Files
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any 3D or voxel models generated or exported from this App (including files in .OBJ or .NBT formats) are used in a legal and ethical manner.
• The .NBT format is provided only for technical compatibility with voxel-based editors and games.
• This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang, Microsoft, or Minecraft®.
• Exported voxel models do not include Minecraft® textures or assets.
Scanning and exporting objects, spaces, or people without appropriate rights or permission may violate laws.
The developer is not responsible for any misuse of exported content.5. Subscription and Payments
The Voxel Scan feature is available through a paid subscription.
• Subscription payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage o - r cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings or in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for unused subscription periods after renewal.
• Introductory free trials may be offered, and their duration is displayed before purchase.6. Data Handling
This App does not collect, store, or transmit personal data.
All LiDAR scan and model data remain local to your device.
No scanning data is sent to the developer or stored remotely.7. User-Generated Content and Age-Appropriate Use
LiDARo allows users to create 3D scans and voxel models solely for their own personal use.
These scans and models are stored locally on the device and are not uploaded, shared, or displayed to other users within the App.
Because LiDARo does not contain online features, social content, or a public gallery, no user-generated content is visible to other users.
Therefore, no age-based content filtering is required within the App.
Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they create is appropriate for their age and complies with all applicable laws, including privacy and intellectual property laws.8. Use at Your Own Risk
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
The developer is not responsible for any loss, damage, or legal consequences resulting from the use of this App.9. Open Source Usage

LiDARo – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the LiDARo application (“App”) handles your data.
LiDARo values your privacy and is designed to operate entirely on your device.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.2. Data Collection
LiDARo does not collect any personal data.
Specifically, the App does not:
• Access or store your photos, videos, or contacts.
• Transmit scan data, camera data, or 3D models to any external server.
• Use analytics or tracking SDKs.
• Require user registration or cloud accounts.
All scanning, rendering, and exporting happen locally on your device.3. LiDAR Scanning and 3D Model Data
The App uses Apple’s ARKit and LiDAR frameworks to generate 3D models from your environment.
All captured data — including LiDAR depth maps, mesh geometry, textures, and voxel models — is:
Processed locally.
Stored only on your device or exported at your request.
Permanently deleted whenyou delete exported files.
No scanning or model data ever leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.4. Subscriptions and Payments
LiDARo offers optional premium features (e.g. “Voxel Scan”) available via auto-renewable subscriptions.
All purchases and renewals are handled securely by Apple’s App Store.
The developer does not:
• Have access to your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID information.
• Process any financial transactions directly.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions5. Technologies Used
LiDARo does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
LiDARo uses on-device processing technologies provided by Apple to enable core features such as LiDAR scanning and subscription management. Those technologies do not collect or transmit any personal data to the developer or third parties.6. Children’s Privacy
LiDARo is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App contains no social, chat, or online features and collects no personal data.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data, please contact us — although, by design, the App cannot store or transmit any user information.7. Data Security
Because LiDARo performs all processing locally, your data never leaves your device.
You are responsible for securing your device and any exported files.8. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally to reflect new features or legal requirements.
